Stories can get you and your friends talking
Talking about issues that matter to them. Situations they face. What they think about life and God.
Stories are in demand
Your friends will want to hear your stories, because they come from places where stories have always been told. The tradition of centuries is still alive and well out in the market places and in the cafes of most regions of the world.
Stories are for all audiences
You will be able to tell your stories in a group, or with just one friend. With elders present or not. On your first meeting or with friends you often sit with. Your stories can lead into discussions about society or God in society; personal or hypothetical.
Stories are best told aloud
There are eight or nine stories written on this app, but they were written to be easily spoken. If you want to tell these stories then practice saying them aloud and morph the words into your own. You are about to have the time of your life!
A story-telling master class
Matthew 13.34 records that Jesus, “did not say anything to themwithout using parables”. The “them” may have been that specific crowd. But it’s obvious Jesus frequently used stories. It’s interesting to see how he told a story and how he then used it. There is a LOT to say about this. Tap to read my simple analysis of the Master at work
